Introducción

Las leyes que rigen el movimientoplanetario son precisamente las tres leyes de Kepler. Para desglosar y comprender dichas leyes es necesario revisar algunos términos que se expondrán en el marco teórico, ecuaciones y contexto histórico quese desarrollan a continuación.
Johannes Kepler nace en Alemania en el año 1571 en Alemania. Su vida empieza con una familia en decadencia y transcurre con una salud frágil debido a su nacimientoprematuro. Sus padres fomentan su interés por la astronomía desde muy pequeño.
Cuando empieza sus estudios universitarios Kepler cobra conocimiento acerca del sistema heliocéntrico de Copérnico yconserva esta filosofía en sus subsecuentes estudios.
En 1594 toma el puesto de profesor de matemáticas en la escuela protestante de Graz después de dejar sus estudios en teología. En este mismo añoKepler elabora una hipótesis geométrica que explica las distancias entre las órbitas planetarias. El error principal en la hipótesis radica en considerar dichas orbitas perfectamente circulares.
Esde suma importancia destacar que la naturaleza ideológica de Kepler tenía sus fundamentos en la religión por lo que tomaba en cuenta la ‘mano de Dios’ en sus aproximaciones. Este razonamiento dio piea que experimentara con un sin fin de figuras como el círculo, óvalos, etc. para buscar explicar el movimiento planetario a través de figuras perfectas.
