Introducción General de la Empresa.
Amphenol es uno de los más grandes fabricantes de productos de interconexión en el mundo. Se especializan en el diseño, manufactura y venta de productos ysistemas de interconexión, conectores, cables coaxiales o planos, terminadores y arneses de cable discreto o moldeado.
Los mercados principales de los productos Amphenol incluyen las telecomunicaciones, telefonía y computación, la televisión por cable, comunicaciones inalámbricas, telefonía móvil y celular, fibra óptica, transmisión de datos y sistemas de cómputo; igualmente tenemos productospara automatización, control de procesos, instrumentación, electrónica militar y aeroespacial, arneses automotrices, industria petrolera, trenes y otros medios de transporte masivo.

Origen y Evolución.
El origen de Amphenol Corporation, se remonta a 1932 en la ciudad de Chicago, USA. Treinta y cinco años después en 1967 la empresa Tueche Kontakt GmbH se inegra al grupo, dicha empresa estabaubicada al sur de Alemania, siendo la mayoría de sus accionistas de origen alemán. De manera conjunta ambas compañías trabajaron y lograron una completa fusión.
En 1991, la compañía comenzó a cotizar en la bolsa de Nueva York, finalmente en 1995 se le dio el nombre de Ampohenol TCS y la planta se estableció en Heilbronn, Alemania. En 1997 compro el Grupo Financiero Kohlberg Kravis Robert & co, locual le sirvió para inyectar capital a la empresa y abrir varias empresa en distintos lugares del mundo. Entre ellos México, Malasia, India, etc.

Misión y Visión de la Empresa.

Misión. Amphenol TCS es una empresa que busca contribuir en el desarrollo de una sociedad cambiante, proporcionando servicios de la más alta calidad, su compromiso también está encaminado a proveer soluciones de acuerdocon los requerimientos que exigen la sociedad actual.

Visión. Busca mantenerse como una empresa reconocida a nivel internacional, bajo la más alta calidad de sus servicios y productos, enfocada siempre en la satisfacción de sus clientes en un 100% y dando el 10% extra que diferencia a las grandes empresas, conjugando sus recursos humanos y materiales dentro de las más altas normas de capacitación,seguridad y tecnología de punta.

Amphenol TCS es una empresa productora de bienes para la industria electrónica, telecomunicaciones e informática. La producción de Amphenol TCS cuenta con dos divisiones:
